Greetings and welcome to the official Supporters Club website.

The Newport County Supporters Club is the oldest supporter group to be associated with the club, dating back to the original club set up around 1912. We are an independent supporters group whose general aim is to support the football club in any way we can - generally this has been in the form of financial assistance. Over the years we have assisted in purchasing players, ground improvements, producing the club programme, running the food/bar outlets and club merchandising.

 

In recent times most of these functions have been devolved to other supporter groups, whilst since the 1980's we have concentrated our efforts in running the highly successful Supporters Club coach travel. We are proud to say that we have run a coach to every first team game of the new football club since its formation in 1989. We are still very much active in helping Newport County AFC, all profits from coach travel are donated to the club and we organise several very successful fund-raising schemes such as our "Safecracker" draw, the "Guess the Score tote" and most recently the "£ a point pledge". In addition to financial help for the club, we have also donated to other worth causes such as helping to fund an operation for club legend Nathan Davies and have recently kitted out the ball boys/girls and groundsman. We also run the annual Childrens Xmas Party at BarAmber for our younger members. Even Spytty The Dog's half time sweets are covered by us.

There are only about a dozen of us on the Committee - all unpaid volunteers, so if anyone has some spare time, any help would be appreciated.
