A momentous day for the Newport YMCA building today. We now have the biggest and best climbing facility in all of Gwent and the apparatus will be available to use and hire very shortly.

You wouldn't have thought you would want to usually give yourself a mountain to climb, but this may be on exception. Please see the facilities page for more information on this.

He's Jacked It In.

Young Jack, a well known member of our small group of staff, flew of to Newport's twinning city of Kutaisi, Georgia at the start of the year. Newport YMCA funded his flight to the Georgian capital so he could help develop English skills throughout the City.

Don't worry though, Jack will be back in April this year to surely continue providing his usual excellent customer service. If you know Jack feel free to see what he's up to on his Facebook page, he has some quality photographs like the one above.
